Dental UltraFil Flow is a versatile, flowable composite resin designed for a wide range of direct restorative and preventive applications. Its primary function is to restore form and function to damaged teeth while ensuring a natural, aesthetically pleasing result. Key uses include:
Class I, III, and V Cavities: Ideal for restoring decay in low to moderate stress-bearing areas.
Preventive Sealants: Flows smoothly and deeply into pits and fissures to prevent future decay.
Liner/Base Under Composite Restorations: Provides an excellent, well-adapted layer beneath conventional composites.
Small Class I and VI Restorations: Perfect for minimal, conservative preparations.
Enhancing Cavity Adaptation: Its flowable nature ensures excellent adaptation to cavity walls, reducing microleakage and ensuring a tight, secure seal.
How to Use Dental UltraFil Flow for Optimal Results
Achieving a perfect restoration with Dental UltraFil Flow is a straightforward, efficient process:
Preparation: Follow standard protocols for cavity preparation, ensuring the area is clean and isolated.
Etching & Bonding: Apply your preferred dental etchant and adhesive system according to the manufacturer's instructions. Light-cure the bonding agent.
Application: Dispense the Dental UltraFil Flow material directly into the prepared cavity using its syringe applicator. Its excellent flowability allows it to easily fill every contour without trapping air bubbles.
Contouring: Shape the material using a suitable instrument. Its non-slump property helps it hold its shape before curing, making contouring precise and easy.
Curing: Polymerize the material using a visible light-curing unit. Follow the recommended curing time based on the restoration's depth and your light's intensity.
Finishing: After curing, finish and polish using standard dental finishing burs and polishing systems to achieve a high-gloss, natural-looking surface.
